Royal Palace of Madrid

In our guided tour of the Royal Palace of Madrid, we shall visit its official rooms, richly decorated with tapestries, furniture, frescoes, clocks, and we shall discover the environment in wich the kings lived in the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries.

The Royal Palace is the official residence of the king of Spain, used today mainly for official ceremonies, as the king lives in the Palacio de la Zarzuela. It is the largest palace in Western Europe in terms of area, with 135,000 sqm and 3,418 rooms. It houses valuable historic and artistic heritage, the Palatine Stradivarius and highly relevant collections paintings, sculptures and tapestries.

Winter (October to March): daily from 10.00 to 18.00
Summer (April to September): daily from 10.00 to 20.00
